Description:

Tall, lanky, and dark haired, Josh Cartwright isn’t anything special looks wise but is well built for his size. Living on an Air force base has kept him fit and he regularly goes to PT with his dad and friends. He’s most recognizable for his clothing. He constantly wears fatigues of every color and design but favors the all black BDU. On base he wears an air force jumpsuit or dress uniform when needed.

Personal History:

Josh has lived on a military base his entire life. He was even born on one, this being said he has grown up in a regimented environment and never had a chance to be a kid. From a young age his friends were Air force Pilots and the base MP’s (Military Police). He’s lucky enough that his mom was forceful enough to keep his friends from teaching him the more colorful parts of his native English language and they kept their talks about the opposite sex away from his ears. He gleaned off anything that they would teach him. Basic flight maintenance from the ground crews, weapon and melee combat from the MP’s, the best way to blow up a truck from the pilots (only in theory), and much to shirgrim of his mother the best way to cut an enemy in half with a saw gun. After moving to the Onizuka Air Force Station in California with his dads fighter wing, he started over, still making friends with the base units, but he became more involved with the people at school.

His social life different from most, he never did find one group that he could hang out with. Floating between groups in the school, he has met just about everyone but never sticks around long enough to get involved in any real friendships or relationships. Going on only a few date, the most notable being when a guy named Stanley convinced him to go out with a girl that Stanley had convinced him liked Josh’s personality. The night ended in the truth that it was all a master plot for Stanley to go with the other girl, but some how the weasel got him self out of it.

He’s pretty good with his hands but has a tendency to make things harder than they really are. Likening to MacGyver he’ll use random stuff to make or fix things. Unlike MacGyver his fixes don’t always work and sometimes they do they exact opposite of fixing it.

Character Traits:

Josh isn’t the easiest person to get along with because he’s very pro-military, and he’s likely to not be reserved if someone insults the military. It usually takes a lot to aggravate him but that is one issue he doesn’t budge on. Josh tries to follow a revised version of the code of chivalry and doesn’t take lightly to people who break the basic tenets that even someone who doesn’t follow the same code as him should know.
